Job Description
Overview:
This position will support the transport (trans-Atlantic) and installation of large, heavy offshore wind farm components (monopiles, transition pieces, offshore substations) for the CVOW project. Types of support includes review of documentation and drawings, and tracking/responding to TQs (RFIs) from our T&I contractor. This position will interface with our T&I contractor as well as other project suppliers.
Are any certification required:
- GWO certification for offshore visits
Top 3 Required Skills
- Familiar with ocean transport of large, heavy components
- Familiar with Vibro and impact piling
- Familiar with heavy lifts
Soft Skills:
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written
- Ability to lead, collaborate, or work effectively in a variety of teams, including multi-disciplinary teams
Preferred Years of Experience:
- 5+ years of recent and direct related experience
Education:
- Engineering degree (marine engineering, aeronautical engineering, Mechanical engineering preferred)
Industry Experience:
- Offshore construction
