Job Description
Pay: $20-22/hr
Summary:
The Closeout process of auditing electric and gas distribution maintenance and construction work orders is a critical task that ensures the integrity and compliance of utility operations. It involves a meticulous review of work orders against company policies, local, state, and federal regulations, as well as adherence to the Sarbanes-Oxley Act. The auditor must possess a comprehensive understanding of design and operational procedures to effectively scrutinize documents, blueprints, and annotations associated with work orders. This level of scrutiny is essential for the accurate posting of assets, which supports operational objectives such as meeting commitments, enhancing productivity, and achieving first-time completion of tasks. The auditor's role is pivotal in the final reconciliation process, confirming that all work is performed to the highest standards and that the final asset postings align with the company's operational and financial goals.

Experience Preferred:
- Business, engineering, or comparable
- Experience with SAP would be an asset
- Strong customer service background
Education:
- High School degree or equivalent required
- Some college preferred

- May require lifting and/or carrying heavy loads (Approx. 5-35lbs)

- May require overtime
