Job Brief
We are looking for an experienced Electrician to perform a variety of installation, troubleshooting and repair tasks on electrical systems. The goal is to install and maintain a well-functioning electrical system for multiple commercial buildings encompassing over 1.5million sq. feet. The successful candidate must also be willing to support other general building maintenance activity

Responsibilities:
  • Install, maintain, modify and repair all electrical distribution systems and associated electrical equipment
  • Replace burned out lamps and ballasts
  • Remain in compliance with current National Electric Code
  • Inspect and test components of electrical systems, including transformers, transfer switches and switch gears
  • Complete work orders and record material utilized on jobs
  • Utilize blueprints, wiring diagrams and manufacturer’s installation manuals to complete assigned projects
  • Survey electrical systems, circuits and plans
  • Willing to work on other general building maintenance items outside of the electrical discipline or trade
  • Perform all work safely, within the safety structure and following safety protocols, including pre-task planning, and job hazard analysis.
  • Will be required to perform 70E training and demonstrate skills.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma/GED required
  • 5+ years’ experience in the electrical trade
  • Familiar with safety processes and protocol, ie: lock out tag out, OSHA, NEC
  • Capable of lifting and carrying a minimum of 50 pounds without assistance
  • Demonstrable knowledge and skills for electrical installation, maintenance and repair of electrical systems and equipment
  • Be able to work effectively within a team structure
