Job Description


Responsibilities:
  • Models the electric Transmission grid in a General Electric Energy Management System (EMS) to ensure the EMS accurately matches the field equipment.

Qualifications:
  • Previous experience with modeling/displays in an Electric Transmission environment (preferably using the General Electric Grid EMS system e-terrasource application).
  • Experience in the electric utility industry - Understanding of Transmission or Distribution environments & components
  • Previous experience with CAD modeling of electric Transmission or Distribution equipment
  • B.S. in engineering technology and 2-4 years experience OR associate degree in engineering technology with 4-8 years of experience OR 7-14 years equivalent experience without degree

Specific Requirements:
  • Serves on 24x7 callout rotation after an orientation period.
