What is the preferred candidate location (local, non-local, remote?) and is there flexibility? If remote possibility, indicate schedule. Richmond, VA. Every day until trained, then remote half of the time - 2 days onsite, 3 days remote.
• What schedule is the candidate required to work? We are flexible with start and end times. Start time should be between 6:30 and 8:30.
• At any time is overtime required or would you say it is just available as a function of the job? Not guaranteed, will be based on major weather events and/or project needs.
• Quick description of the role or project story (What this role will be doing):
Editing GIS to display Fiber cable, as it is installed.
Works in GIS and database applications which model electric utility distribution systems and fiber optic cables. Requires understanding of functional business processes as they relate to design, construction and operations and working understanding of data attributes that support these business processes. Requires ability to create a connected model that replicates the fiber optic system. Performs and manages QA/QC processes. Must be available to work emergency and planned overtime.
