Job Description

Duties:
Provide CMMS support as it relates to maintenance spare parts procurement.
  • Support and report business inventory strategy. Administrate MRO (Materials Repairs Operations) inventory accuracy on parts needed for maintenance activities (CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) - Maximo system, MRO module)
  • Procure and acquire parts to maintain strategic inventory, unplanned corrective maintenance, planned non inventory parts, or special equipment improvement projects support
  • Organize and maintain physical stock accuracy applying cycle counts audits
  • Provide guidance and critical stock information to Maintenance planning and scheduling team to ensure all schedules and activities can be met timely
  • Manage supplier bids, technical part identification support, pursuing cost / benefit procurement balance. Ensure completion and financial accuracy of maintenance requisitions and purchase orders (Coupa system).
  • Organize and guide stakeholders with the information to ensure maintenance work execution. Providing material and parts availability reports on daily Tier meeting
  • Organize and review quotes for accuracy, provide input where appropriate
  • Assist technicians with research and ordering equipment associated parts. Identify direct and indirect purchase and facilitate procurement through Receiving department
  • May provide awareness training on CMMS Maximo MRO module to other users

Top Skills
  • Basic knowledge of computerized maintenance management system (CMMS - Maximo, MRO module) or 3 years with another CMMS
  • Knowledgeable on MRO stock management strategies, ABC stock and business priorities need
  • Knowledge in Excel (creating pivot tables, graphs, etc.) – may require creating reports and dashboards
  • Critical thinking, excellent communication skills
  • Understanding of purchasing/procurement processes

  • Proven expertise in MS Office Suite (advance knowledge on Excel spreadsheet and pivot reports)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong mathematical skills and demonstrated ability to manage budget
  • Demonstrated problem-solving, organizational and critical thinking skills
  • Full knowledge and understanding of Edwards policies, procedures, and requirements
  • Advanced knowledge of computerized maintenance management system (CMMS - Maximo MRO module)
  • Knowledgeable on MRO stock management strategies, ABC stock and business priorities need
  • Ability to interact professionally with all organizational levels
  • Interpersonal relationship skills with contacts are across the organization and at all organizational levels, including external contacts that may be at high levels
  • Adhere to all EHS rules and requirements and take adequate control measures in preventing injuries to themselves and others as well as to the protection of environment and prevention of pollution under their span of influence/control
  • Capability to safely handle inventory part to re-stock shelf item applying proper GMP lifting and motion techniques.
  • Will be required to perform part inventory, which may take up to 40% of daily time and can require the following physical activities randomly and sporadically:
    • Ability to lift 25-50 lbs unassisted (based on need)
    • Bending Waist 20+ degrees
    • Reaching above shoulder level
    • Reaching below waist level
    • Climbing up and down at least one step
Education/Experience: 
  • H.S. Diploma or equivalent, 3 years of previous related experience - Required
  • Experience in Industrial parts procurement and Parts/Stock administration
  • Experience working in a regulated industry - Required, Med Device is Preferred
