Job Description

A Mechanical Engineer with 3-5 years' experience and responsible for conducting the design development, implementation, and technical analysis of various technical systems to implement new products, or changes to an existing scheme, to suit individual client needs. The professional in this role works on multiple projects in a timely and cost-effective manner to meet client, contractual and company requirements.
The mechanical engineer monitors progress and performance against the project plan and acts immediately to resolve operational problems and minimize delays, as well as recognizes technical discrepancies in analytical results, and makes appropriate corrections. This individual identifies, develops, and gathers technical resources necessary to complete assignments. 
Experience with advanced energy/generation systems is preferred. As part of the team, you’ll have the opportunity to work on innovative projects that balance cost-saving measures with long-term sustainability goals. In this role you will specialize in innovative energy conservation projects, transitioning from carbon-based fuels to cleaner energy sources—pioneering solutions that minimize operational disruption and maximize results. Required:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related required
  • Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification required
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
  • Minimum 3 years' related engineering experience required
  • Demonstrates a strong working knowledge of the respective engineering field as well as proven ability to practically apply it in a professional environment
  • Proficient in engineering, computational, and modeling software (Revit, AutoCAD, MicroStation, etc.)
  • Understands QA/QC procedures
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to adapt communication style to suit various audiences
  • Desire to work in a collaborative team environment with the willingness to assist more senior staff
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office software required
  • Participation in a professional engineering society/organization preferred
