Job Description
Coordinates project teams of one to five people including planning, scheduling, and control of project and program activities. Acts as a specialist for specific projects with detailed knowledge of all aspects of the projects. Maintain a knowledge base of new development and technology. Monitor projects and recommend changes to improve operating efficiency. Develop budgetary estimates.
Required Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, project management, business, or related field from accredited college or university and one year of experience in a technical field or associate degree in engineering, construction management, project management, business, or related technical curriculum from accredited college or university and three years’ experience in a technical field or High School Diploma/GED and five years’ experience in a technical field.
Required Abilities & Skills:
Basic project management techniques.
Basic core values as related to human performance, cost-effective work execution.
Basic use of computer software tools.
Ability to exercise sound judgment, weighing alternative courses of action and making decisions that are based on factual information and rational assumptions, taking organization resources into consideration.
Demonstrated ability in planning and organizational skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills. Must establish goals, set priorities, and maintain an awareness of interrelationships among activities.
Possess strong project management skills and abilities, including leading projects and initiatives.
Ability to develop cost to benefit analysis in support of project options.
Ability to apply applicable technical specifications, code requirements, and standards.
