Job Description
Responsibilities
- Lead and facilitate the overall cross-functional project team.
- Oversee the quality of deliverables prepared by team members, including, but not limited to, fee plans, work plans, risk mitigation plans, and contracts.
- Resolve issues impacting project objectives.
- Lead or support team in scope and budget/pricing development for proposals and dynamic project planning.
- Support client relationships and business development in support of strategic business plan.
- Act as key point of internal contact for communication.
- Identify plan vs. actual performance variances.
- Active Professional Registration - Licensed Engineer, Indiana preferred. Will look at people with other PEs
- 5-10 years of related work experience as a Project Engineer or Project Manager. Someone young in career but looking to get into project management. Send more senior people as well
- IF NO PE BUT 10-15+ YEARS SOLID EXPERIENCE, WILL CONSIDER
- Experience with Site Design and Development projects supporting one or more Private Market studios/sub-markets; Retail, Hospitality, Mixed Use/Multi-Family, Mission Critical, Industrial, and Corporate, is required
- PMP Certification preferred but not required
- Strong understanding of project management and ability to facilitate technical discussions when needed
- Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to negotiate, influence and manage risk
- Be able to effectively communicate in both internal and external relationships for all essential job functions
- Be able to make sound decisions/recommendations based on the evaluation and synthesis of project information and data
- Must be able to travel up to 25% for local, regional, and national clients and projects…99% of travel is in the State
