Job Description
- A QC Inspector Mid (Quality Control Inspector Mid-level) is responsible for performing inspections, tests, and evaluations of products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications. They work independently or as part of a team to ensure that products meet quality requirements before they are released to customers. Responsibilities may include:
- Conducting inspections and tests of products at various stages of production to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
- Performing visual inspections, measurements, and functional tests on products.
- Identifying and documenting defects, discrepancies, and non-conformities in products.
- Reporting inspection and test results to QC supervisors or managers.
- Assisting in the development and implementation of quality control procedures and guidelines.
- Maintaining inspection records and documentation.
- Participating in the investigation and resolution of quality issues.
- Providing training and guidance to junior QC inspectors.
- Ensuring compliance with safety and quality control procedures and guidelines.
- Keeping abreast of industry standards and best practices in quality control.
- Minimum 5yrs of Gas Construction experience. Ability to read prints and ability to obtain OQ's.
- Ability to read and understand gas construction prints.
- Ability to acquire Operator Qualifications from White Marsh Training Center
- Ability to interpret our clients Gas Construction Standards
- Experience working gas construction with BGE.
- Ability to get BGE Gas Operator Qualifications
- Ability to use Microsoft Outlook and word. '
- Basic computer literacy is required.
- 5 yrs experience in gas construction minimum.
