Job Description

Job Description:  
  • A QC Inspector Mid (Quality Control Inspector Mid-level) is responsible for performing inspections, tests, and evaluations of products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications. They work independently or as part of a team to ensure that products meet quality requirements before they are released to customers. Responsibilities may include:
  • Conducting inspections and tests of products at various stages of production to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
  • Performing visual inspections, measurements, and functional tests on products.
  • Identifying and documenting defects, discrepancies, and non-conformities in products.
  • Reporting inspection and test results to QC supervisors or managers.
  • Assisting in the development and implementation of quality control procedures and guidelines.
  • Maintaining inspection records and documentation.
  • Participating in the investigation and resolution of quality issues.
  • Providing training and guidance to junior QC inspectors.
  • Ensuring compliance with safety and quality control procedures and guidelines.
  • Keeping abreast of industry standards and best practices in quality control.
Position Requirements:  
  •  Minimum 5yrs of Gas Construction experience. Ability to read prints and ability to obtain OQ's.
Top 3 Key Skills Needed:
  • Ability to read and understand gas construction prints.
  • Ability to acquire Operator Qualifications from White Marsh Training Center
  • Ability to interpret our clients Gas Construction Standards
Candidate MUST Haves:
  • Experience working gas construction with BGE.
Education Level/Type:
  • Ability to get BGE Gas Operator Qualifications 
Specific Technical/Software Experience:
  • Ability to use Microsoft Outlook and word.  '
  • Basic computer literacy is required.
Years of Experience Required:
  • 5 yrs experience in gas construction minimum.
