We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Senior Environmental Engineer in our client’s Sacramento, California office. 
 What you will do:
The Senior Environmental Engineer will manage projects focused primarily on on-site characterization remediation. Your work will include preparation of remedial investigations and remedial design, feasibility studies, as well as collaboration with Our Client’s multi-disciplined scientists, engineers, and technical specialists nationwide. Remediation projects will include abandoned mines or large groundwater plumes. Specific duties include:
  • Project management.
  • Engineering analysis and design.
  • Preparation of reports and bid documents.
  • Client interaction.
  • Construction oversight.
  • Business development.

 What you will need: 
  • B.S. degree (M.S degree preferred) in civil engineering, environmental engineering, geology, or related field.
  • 10-15 years of experience in technical project work and project management.
  • CERCLA, site characterization remediation, and State of California regulations experience.
  • Current State of California P.E. license.
  • Demonstrated experience in project management, engineering design, technical writing, and proposal development.
  • Experience with the EPA or DOD clients strongly preferred.
  • Experience with soil excavation projects.
  • Exceptional client management and business development skills.
  • Candidate must be able to work as a team member across technical disciplines, and must be able to adhere to schedules, scopes, and budgets, as well as EA’s project management and quality standards.
  • Ability as needed to work in both a field and office setting.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including coordination with federal/state/local agencies on regulatory requirements.
