Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead, manage, and hold accountable the service department technicians across all locations
- Ensure efficient planning and scheduling for all technicians
- Manage workflows for all open and quoted work orders
- Follow up on work progress and warranty claims
- Monitor and ensure repair order quality
- Monitor the correct use of the time clock
- Monitor technician efficiency and productivity
- Maintain and control special tools and technical information
- Communicate and coordinate repair work with other departments and vendors
- Monitor shop capacity and provide information to service advisors and shop foreman
- Exercise honesty, integrity and respect with all clients and co-workers
- Demonstrate a positive attitude
- Communicate effectively with co-workers and clients
- Work with accuracy, efficiency, and attention to detail
- Exercise initiative to learn new skills and tasks and to help co-workers when possible
- Execute other duties as assigned
