Sr Construction Project Manager

Job Description
Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
- Act as a liaison between the design team and the client; represent throughout the project
- Manage internal job coordination meetings, manage drawing distribution process, and maintain project files
- Record and distribute meeting minutes, organize, and schedule meetings; manage record keeping processes
- Manage the distribution of RFI & Submittals, ensure timely responses, manage documents in Newforma database, and interface and collaborate with Construction Managers and/or Contractor’s software platforms
- Manage design team activities (scope, schedule, and budget hours); develop design schedules
- Manage A/E activities during the Bid & Award process; provide bid analysis to confirm scope is covered by documents
- Manage construction administration process, represent the A/E in OAC meetings, conduct site visits for quality monitoring and develop site reports, review pay applications, coordinate the project close-out process
- Manage subconsultants and ensure proper design team integration
- Participate in quality assurance process, review test reports and document deficiencies
- Interface with code officials and manage subconsultant activities
- Support the Project Principal (managing, scheduling, estimating, reporting)
- Provide cost estimating of construction projects up to fifty million dollars
- Develop logic-based CPM schedules in Microsoft Project, Primavera, or other scheduling software
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, or relevant Architectural/Engineering studies
- Minimum 15 years’ experience working in the construction industry, or relevant A/E design experience
- Excellent communication skills; must be able to speak, read, and write well in the English language
- Demonstrated proficiency in implementing project reporting controls
- Experience working in Unanet (or Vision) software program
- Self-starter with high degree of problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Project, and Outlook)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with proven ability to manage multiple projects
- People skills, ability to organize and guide others in decision making processes
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Must be able to prioritize workload and meet deadlines
- High degree of professionalism and integrity
- Strong work ethic, reliable
- Strong analytical skills
