Job Description
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in architecture. Master’s or Professional degree preferred.
- 10+ years of experience producing and coordinating design and construction documents.
- Experience in a leadership role on a multi-discipline project team.
- License to practice architecture required.
- Proficient in Microsoft 365 Suite, Bluebeam, Adobe.
- Strong software skills using Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, and Desktop Connector.
- Experience in project scheduling and work breakdown structures.
- Experience identifying, specifying, detailing, and inspecting Miami-Dade Notice of Acceptance (NOA) and Florida Product Approval system building components.
- Experience delegating and managing the work of other architectural staff assigned to the project.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred:
- Familiarity with Revit productivity Add-Ins such as Ideate Software, CTC Tools, DiRoots, or PyRevit desired.
- Proficient in using the Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) Docs module (Design Collaboration and Model Coordination modules a plus.
- Familiarity with 3D visualization tools such as Enscape and TwinMotion desired but not required.
- Federal healthcare and non-healthcare experience, primarily with NAVFAC and USACE and their guidelines. Federal VA project experience a plus.
- Familiarity with FGI guidelines and experience working with Florida Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA).
- Experience writing and editing specifications utilizing the Masterspec specification format.
- Experience working on complex renovation projects that require multiple phases.
- Experience working on technical studies, narratives, and/or request for proposal documentation.
- Experience conducting technical quality control reviews and redlining of the architectural portions of the project.
- Familiarity with Autodesk BIM 360.
- Experience with Design-Build projects.
- Subject matter expertise in any of the following categories: building science, product specifications, door hardware, fire resistance rated construction techniques, seismic and wind design, and sustainability.
