Job Description
Position Purpose:
The Talent Sourcing Specialist is responsible for proactively identifying, engaging, and building pipelines of qualified candidates. This role focuses on developing and executing innovative sourcing strategies to meet current and future hiring needs while ensuring an exceptional candidate experience.
Primary Duties/Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies to identify top talent for various roles, using tools such as job boards, social networks, and talent acquisition software.
- Partner with Talent Partners and Hiring Managers to understand business needs and define ideal candidate profiles.
- Conduct initial candidate outreach through various channels, including cold calls, emails, and social media messaging, ensuring timely and professional communication.
- Build and maintain talent pools and pipelines for critical and high-demand roles to ensure a steady flow of qualified candidates.
- Conduct pre-screening interviews to assess candidate qualifications, skills, and cultural fit.
- Create and maintain an organized database of potential candidates, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
- Analyze sourcing metrics and adapt strategies to improve effectiveness and reduce time-to-fill.
- Represent company at recruitment activities, such as job fairs, conferences, and networking events, to enhance employer branding.
- Stay informed about talent market trends, competitor hiring practices, and new sourcing tools to enhance recruitment strategies.
- Support administrative tasks, including drafting job postings and coordinating candidate interview schedules.
Education/Experience/Background:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Bilingual (French and English) with strong written and verbal communication skills. (Big plus but not required)
- At least 3 years of experience in talent sourcing or recruitment, with a proven ability to identify and engage passive candidates.
- Proficiency with sourcing platforms, including LinkedIn Recruiter and other professional networks.
- Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (SmartRecruiter preferred) and CRM tools.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Strong research and talent mapping skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on candidate engagement.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to track and report sourcing metrics effectively.
- Proactive and creative approach to sourcing challenges.
