Job Description
This position is intended to support Physical Security Upgrade Projects. The ideal candidate will have the following skills and abilities:
- Able to support and coordinate cross-functional interaction between multiple workgroups
- Able to read, review, and provide input for engineering sketches and drawings
- Able to act as a liaison between Nuclear Security and Nuclear Projects for scoping and technical review of physical security requirements
- Able to support onsite walkdowns of the affected equipment
- Able to obtain and maintain Safeguards Information (SGI) qualification
- Able to obtain and maintain nuclear unescorted access (UA)
- Familiarity with nuclear physical security requirements including site-specific requirements, fleet-specific requirements, regulatory agency requirements, and local/state/federal law requirements
- Able to work with internal and external customers/vendors to find common solutions for the affected equipment
- Able to support the Project Manager (PM) in project coordination tasks and interface with the Responsible Engineer (RE) on technical items requiring Engineering Change (EC) incorporation
- Able to support Field Engineer (FE) with coordination between planning, implementation, engineering, and project management
