Job Description


Looking for an experienced project supervisor with a power/industrial plant background. Familiarization with LNG plants is ideal. LNG plant operating experience is desirable.

Candidate will supervise capital projects at an LNG facility which will include the execution of the safety, compliance, quality, scope, schedule and budget. It also includes consultation and negotiation with contractors involving installation, modification and repair of equipment and products in facility. Work independently or coordinate activities of other staff to install, modify, test or repair Company products and equipment. Represent the Company in negotiating agreements, resolving highly complex technical, logistics and business issues with the contractor while protecting the Company's interests.

Requirements:
  • Experience with NFPA 59A, 49 CFR 193, OSHA 1910, OSHA 1926 or FDNY regulatory codes desirable.
  • Will be required to pass FDNY certificate of fitness within one year of hire.
  • Candidate will be required to take and pass company supplied LNG awareness and process safety training after being hired.
  • Candidate must have worked around LNG, gas or hazardous gases before with full understanding of permit to work and purging requirements.
  • Must be able to use a computer, Microsoft applications, email.
  • Must pass a company physical - no physical accommodations allowed.
  • Must have a valid drivers license and be able to pass a background check.
  • While driving isn't a main function of this role, there are company vehicles onsite which may require occasional driving.
